The trough, and what answers it
- The worst moment is Decide, not Investigate. An executive who cannot defend a figure to the board will not approve, and a platform that is 95% right is worse than one that says which 5% it is unsure about
- The answer is structural, not cosmetic: every claim carries an evidence identifier bound to a snapshot, and unsupported claims are dropped rather than softened (views 15, 29, 30)
- The second trough is at Investigate — the number differs from the board pack. One measure definition, owned by finance, published once and used by both the platform and Power BI (views 11, 17)
What this decides elsewhere
- "Nobody closed the loop" at Watch is why the decision record is a durable entity with an outcome verdict, rather than a chat transcript (views 19, 20)
- "Is this all of it?" at Brief is why every answer states coverage and freshness. Silence about a stale source is the failure mode that destroys trust fastest
Measured
- Time from brief to a settled decision: target under 12 minutes for three items
- Recommendation acceptance rate, tracked per tenant — the platform's real success metric
- Abstention rate: monitored, and deliberately not driven to zero
