Write path

  • Content lands immutably before anything interprets it
  • Modality-specific understanding, one common chunk record out
  • Contextual enrichment then dense, sparse and typed indexing

Read path

  • Hybrid search over vectors, BM25 terms and typed tables
  • Reciprocal rank fusion, then cross-encoder reranking
  • Generation with citations, then a grounding gate

Feedback

  • Weak evidence sends the query back for one retry
  • User corrections flow into the curation and eval set
  • Abstaining is a valid, measured outcome
