Decisions

  • The unit of value is a tracked, remediated weakness — not a green run. A platform measured on runs executed will produce runs that cannot fail.
  • The loop starts at the untested-dependency set, which means the gap report drives the practice rather than reporting on it.
  • Promotion to scheduled is the closing step: a fix that is not continuously re-verified is a fix with an expiry date nobody wrote down.

Assumptions

  • About 61% of findings closed — a stated assumption used to argue that remediation capacity, not injection capacity, is the constraint.

Risks

  • The loop stalls at remediation, every time, because fixing resilience competes with roadmap. Every number on this view is really a question about engineering time.
